We had a great evening with casual discussions about the state of frontend development.

We planned initially on creating two panels each with 4 speakers but the summer rain ruined our plans. At first we only had 3 or 4 guests and we started then panel and the other speakers joined along the way so we ended up having a huge panel.

We debated topics ranging from the state of community development and how community can steer frameworks or libraries to framework wars and the state of testing.

Our Jury:

Ana Maria Mihalceanu – co-founder of Bucharest Craftmanship group

Diana Miron – founder of JSLeague

Andrei Antal – co-organizer of ngBucharest

Alex Proca – co-founder of Incremental Community

Our panel participants:

1. Peter Eijgermans – an adventurous and passionate CodeSmith at Ordina Netherlands.

2. Michał Michalczuk is a strongly web oriented full-stack software developer and IT trainer

3. Liran Tal  – Developer Advocate at Snyk and a member of the Node.js Security working group

4. Natalia Venditto –  technical lead for some of Netcentric’s largest client platforms

5. Alex Moldovan – is one of the founders of JSHeroes and an active voice in the JavaScript community

6. Dmitry Vinnik is a Lead Software Engineer at Salesforce

7. Sabin Marcu (React) – Sabin is the youngest JSLeague trainer, an accomplished front-end developer and ReactJS expert
